In the middle of this spiritual madness of good and bad... there's also that rest in between ego and greediness. That second is called awareness, you can't lie to awareness. Take it easy and just know that voice is the one connected to your obsession on becoming your best self.
It's one with the spirit and human. when we don't listen to it we only walk towards more lies to cover what we know is right. We know what we want but we try to keep our ego and expectations close to us too. It will be clean when you are truth and respect.
The awareness is the truth.
